Description
Horseshoe Crab Copper Lapel Pin
Horseshoe crabshave been around for more than 445 million years, making them even older than dinosaurs. Horseshoe crabs are also extremely important to the biomedical industry because their unique, copper-based blue blood contains a substance called “Limulus Amebocyte Lysate”, or “LAL”. Our horseshoe crab pin is hand cast in solid, lead-free pewter and then dipped in copper. Our biomedical pins have a US made, military style clasp back to keep your pin secure on a lab coat, name badge, or lanyard. The crab pins arrive packaged on our signature presentation card, making them ready for gift-giving!
